Formed in 1987 Outline Theatre is a Christian based theatre group based in Yiewsley, Middlesex.
Outline Theatre is open to all ages, from 8-80 and we are actively looking to recruit new members.

We have recently completed our run of the production of CS Lewis' ' The Magician's Nephew' which was on at St Mathews Church Yiewsley in Novenber

Friends Digory and Polly are tricked by a master magician into embarking on a series of magical adventures being tempted by the evil witch, Jadis, and guided bt Aslan the protector of Narnia.

Glyn Robbins has a adapted The Magician's Nephew with style ,skill and a great sense of humour with a concoction of the fantastic and the believable bought together to show the magic and mystery of Narnia

A fantastical and exciting family show showing how Narnia came to be

Please note that there are strobe lighting effects used in this production

Members are taught acting skills, stage craft and speech projection normally in conjunction with a production in rehearsal.
Through the production workshops, skills of set construction, prop & costume making are developed along with opportunities to learn about lighting and sound.
As a small theatre group, Outline aims to build and make its own sets, props and costumes, rather than hire for productions. To achieve this we organise regular Saturday morning production workshops for all members to attend, giving an all inclusive theatre and community experience.
Outline meet at St Matthew’s Church, Yiewsley on Tuesday evenings 7.00 – 9.00pm. Set and costume production workshops are normally at weekends.

Come along and join in with us for a couple of weeks to see what we do and to get to know us all, at no charge, before deciding to take out your membership

Flexibility

Whilst rehearsals and acting workshops take place in term time many of the productions are performed during school holidays and a commitment to being available for run ups and dress/tech rehearsals for a number of days prior to performances is required. Flexibility is key to the success of productions and performances.
